Rene Marie Russo (born Rene Marie Russo) is an American film model, actress and filmmaker. She is known for her beautiful beauty and her long-standing presence in the demanding film industry shows her skills and talent as performer. When she was a model in her early years, she began her career in the 1970s. Her popularity quickly grew in the field of modeling. The beginning of the following decade, she began studying theatre and acting before appearing on stage at Los Angeles and elsewhere in California. in 1987 Russo played Eden Kendell on ABC's show Sable. She portrayed Tom Berengers' love interest the following year with Major League, her debut film. Her consistency has won over the critics, who initially were unsure regarding her talents as an actor. They particularly loved her performance in Wolfgang Petersen's Outbreak where she held herself against the likes that of Dustin Hoffman and Morgan Freeman. According to her, she never had a passion in acting. After a lengthy break, she self-imposed on herself to act in 2005. After a long break, she came back for her part in Thor. Rose Namajunas ranks among the top UFC female athletes. She started her career in amateur fighting, participating in regional competitions before signing to Invicta Fighting Championships and later signing up with the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). Her success in and out from the Octagon have helped make her a household brand since she became a member of the UFC. Namajunas, a Lithuanian-immigrant, was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, on June 29, 1992. Rose played basketball and kickboxing as she grew to maturity. She made her debut in professional competition when she was 18 for Invicta Fighting Championships at which she managed to win two matches by submission. Dana White was impressed and signed Rose to the UFC's strawweight division at the age of 22 at the end of December in 2014. Rose has experienced extremes and lows throughout her professional career. She has always come out the winner. Rose fought Carla Esparza at The Ultimate Fighter 20 Finale in April of 2015. The winner was given the Women's Strawweight Championship and also won the title of Fighter of the Night. It was the first time a woman was able to fight a big promotion for a championship. Namajunas had several successful bouts following this victory, that included beating Joanna Jedrzejczyk on two occasions. The win brought Namajunas Performance Of The Night awards from UFC.
